Bird of Halloween Past

At this time last year, I was a noob in the wonderful world of crafts. Ok, not really. I have always been a crafty kind of girl. But I took a big plunge last year and decided to make Lil'bug's Halloween costume. After weeks of "She would be such a cute [insert random costume here]!" I finally picked an idea! She was going to be a hatching bird! She was only 3.5 months old, so it had to be something simple-ish and definitely comfy. It took me FOREVER to figure out how to make it, and this is what I came up with.

This year, I am making Lil'bug a gnome costume! Which is proving to be a little more difficult than one would think... but I will pull it off!
