Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. We are going to be taking an even longer absence than we had hoped. We have so much happening in our lives right now, that I just need to focus on what is happening. Menu Planning

I know it is a little late, but I've got it ready tonight! I haven't been doing a ton of crafting lately. I did whip up a peasant dress for Lil'bug for Thanksgiving and I looooved it. I just used what was in my fabric stash, and it turned out so well. I bought some pretty snowflake material to make her another one! haha! Tonight, I will be hemming some curtains for my grandma.

Happy Thanksgiving! 

Today (and everyday, of course!) I am thankful for my wonderful husband, my adorable daughter, and all of my friends and family. I am truly blessed! <3 

Crazy Leg Pants!

I have finally been getting back to sewing! I knew that I wanted to make Bug some Christmas jammies, and here they are!

Sorry for the lazy cell phone pic! The hubbs was nice enough to hold them up for me, at least!

I see many of these pants in Lil'bug's future. These are in some super soft flannel, but they would be great in stretchy knit as well!  So many ideas!

We had a great time with my husband's folks this weekend.  They left with a little touch of some kind of bug, though... so we are hoping they are all feeling better today!

Here is the menu plan for this week. Though, my hubby's birthday is tomorrow... so he will be using that as leverage to get what he wants all week, I am sure. :)

I finally got to spend some time with my sewing machine last night! My mother-in-law got me some of the cutest Grinch flannel to make Lil'bug some pajama pants! I made a test pair with some flannel from my stash, and if they fit, I will be making her new Christmas ones tonight! I also made a little pouch with the snappy tape measure closure... might be throwing a tutorial up for that one of these days. Stay tuned, folks. I will get it back together one of these days.
